Josie, Melody and Valerie are three girls from Riverdale determined to take their rock band, The Pussycats, beyond performing at the local bowling alley and the mismanagement of Alexander Cabot III (and his snarky sister Alexandra). When they finally catch their big break and sign with a major record label, they realize that the record company is controlling teens across the United States with subliminal messaging in pop songs. A glittery and hilarious romp, Josie and the Pussycats satirizes the consumer culture of its time with a bold Y2K aesthetic and a banging original soundtrack that will have you singing along to "3 Small Words" and "Spin Around."
