Beginning with the question: “What is an artists’ book?” printmaker, book artist and arts educator, Liz Menard, will discuss how creating limited-edition, handmade, hand-print artists’ books became an integral part of her practice.

Liz Menard is an award winning Toronto based printmaker, installation artist, book artist and arts educator. Liz’s lifelong love of nature continues to inform her practice. Through her work, Liz invites people to consider their relationship to nature, our fragile environment and native and invasive species. Sustaining environmental biodiversity is a recurring theme in Liz’s work.
