A second concert has been added for “Iceland’s Glenn Gould” (The New York Times) Víkingur Ólafsson’s performance of Bach’s Goldberg Variations. “Breathtakingly brilliant pianist” (Gramophone) Ólafsson was named Artist of the Year at the Gramophone Awards in 2019. His remarkable originality has made an unforgettable impact. His album, Johann Sebastian Bach, on Deutsche Grammophon won Best Instrumental Album and Album of the Year at the 2019 BBC Music Magazine Awards.
