Camp: A New Play Reading

Shortlisted for the 2021 Canadian Jewish Playwriting Competition, Camp juxtaposes two 15-year-old girls' experiences—Lila at Jewish sleepover camp and Greta - in a concentration camp. This research-informed play explores themes of womanhood, trauma, sisterhood and resilience.

Please note that this play explores sensitive subject matter pertaining to lived experiences of a young woman in a concentration camp during the Holocaust including references to sexual violence. This play is suitable for audience members ages 12 and up, though parents and guardians should exercise their discretion. A Healing Ancestral Lines Workshop will follow the reading and is free of charge for audience members.
