King on Screen

In 1976, Brian de Palma directed Carrie, the first novel by Stephen King. Since then, more than 50 directors have adapted the master of horror's books, in more than 80 films and series, making him the most adapted author alive.

What's so fascinating about King that makes filmmakers want to adapt his works? King on Screen reunites the filmmakers that have adapted the legendary author’s books for cinema and TV, including Frank Darabont (The Shawshank RedemptionThe Green Mile), Tom Holland (The Langoliers), Mick Garris (The StandSleepwalkers) and Taylor Hackford (Dolores Claiborne).

Special intro by Little Ghost Books before the August 18 screening.
