This 4-week course will explore the music that went along for the ride with medieval wanderers, including some of Europe's earliest notated ployphony for pilgrims en route to Santiago de Compostella, the dances and melodious songs of clerics and ne-er-do-well students, music created and encountered by Crusaders and merchants, and more!
