Bill Cunningham New York - Great Photographers

For over 50 years, the late great The New York Times photographer Bill Cunningham took candid pictures of people near his New York studio home above Carnegie Hall, documenting how they dress and assembling a unique portrait of fashion, society and changing times. Known for being private—even monk-like— this documentary shows us the man behind the photos, chronicling his incredible working life and career and acquainting you with the perspective of an artist perpetually in search of beauty.

Admission includes a post-screening discussion with Paul Roth, director of the Ryerson Image Centre.
