Flute Day
Flute Day will offer an interactive Alexander Technique presentation by Gary Labovitz as well as a panel discussion by Faculty of Music flutists. Students will be able to play with faculty in a special flute choir in the afternoon. Guest artist Bonita Boyd will present a master class and will give a recital at 7 pm.
Schedule of Events:
- 10-11 AM: Alexander Technique Class with Gary Labovitz
- 11 AM-12 PM: Panel Discussion with Flute Faculty
- 12-1 PM: Lunch
- 1-4 PM: Master class with Bonita Boyd
- 4-5 PM: Rehearsal with Flute Choir
- 5-6 PM: Dinner
- 7-8 PM: Recital with Bonita Boyd and Deborah Hui, Collaborative Pianist
Long and McQuade will have flutes and accessories to try.
