CONTEMPORARY COLOR

This Film Should Be Played Loud: See new, classic and rare concert films on the big screen.

In 2015, legendary musician David Byrne (Talking Heads) masterminded a mesmerizing spectacle as an ode to Color Guard, an art form of synchronized dance with rifles, sabers and flags. Contemporary Color puts you in a front row seat at this once-in-a-lifetime event of music, movement and visual splendour. Featuring artists such as St. Vincent, Nelly Furtado, Ad-Rock, How To Dress Well and Ira Glass paired with Color Guard teams from across North America, the performances are captured with dazzling award-winning cinematography that feels like choreography in its own right. Contemporary Color is a powerful celebration of talent and creativity at its highest level.

Arrive early and enjoy some pre-show tunes with the global phenomenon DJ Chris MaGee.

8:30 PM: Doors Open  9:30 PM: Screening

Sponsored by Mill Street Brewery.
