Design an Accessible City

What makes a city work? What makes a city accessible? Participants will learn about form and function by exploring Canadian and international structures and designers. Participants will also be challenged to work cooperatively through the design process to create their own accessible city.
Part of Jewish Disabilities Awareness and Inclusion Month.

Sketching in the BSM Galleries

Come and be inspired by the collection of the Bata Shoe Museum! From delicate 19th century slippers to the artistry and workmanship of Arctic kamiks, the artefacts on display at the BSM provide endless opportunities to be creative. Participants of any skill level are invited to spend a quiet hour in the museum after we close to the general public. Supplies not provided, dry mediums only please.

5:30-7:30pm | $5 per person | Tickets available online at www.batashoemuseum.ca/tickets or at the door.

Holiday Crafts at the BSM

Come celebrate the holiday season at the BSM with some shoe-inspired holiday fun! Kids can decorate a cookie, make a special craft, play ISpy in the galleries and try on some funky shoes, perfect for the holiday family picture!
