The Dance of Words, (documentary, 2014, 44 min, 7 years old and +), directed by Yves Etienne Massicotte, features young artists who have embraced their deaf identity in adulthood after spending a difficult childhood in the grey zone between hearing culture and deaf culture. These emerging artists show how they are using the arts to build a deaf culture that makes them proud. They shine a spotlight on their community while promoting and advancing deaf culture with a keen sensitivity.

Put in charge of his young son, Alain leaves Belgium for Antibes to live with his sister and her husband as a family. Alain's bond with Stephanie, a killer whale trainer, grows deeper after Stephanie suffers a horrible accident.

BALLET SCREENING: Balanchine / Millepied

Discover on screen the lyrical and choreographic masterpieces of the Paris National Opera. Operas from the 2014-2015 season of the Paris National Opera will be screened in the brand new Theatre of Alliance française de Toronto.

Alongside Balanchine’s Palais de Cristal, set to music by Bizet, Benjamin Millepied adapts Ravel’s Daphnis et Chloé. Philippe Jordan will be accompanying the Paris Opera Ballet for the first time.

Lea, Adrian, and their little brother Theo, born deaf, go on holiday in Provence with their grandfather, Paul "Oliveron" they never met because of a family quarrel. Unfortunately, it is not the holidays they dreamed, especially after their father announced that he was leaving the house. In less than 24 hours, it is the clash of generations between the teens and their grandfather.
